Chaplain:  David Meitzler

Chaplain David grew-up in Garden Grove California and lived there until moving the family to Fullerton in 1996.  He retired from the Army Reserve Special Operations in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Certificate in Logistics. David started Ministry Training in 2014. In 2015 the Lord led David, along with his wife Gloria and son Brandon to Christian Life Center as a new Church home and place of spiritual growth.

At Christian Life Center, he would start his ministry journey with periodically facilitating Men’s Bible Studies and participating in other outreach service areas of Church need. He would become elected to the Board of Deacons in 2018 and would concurrently complete Deacon Minister Ordination through Christian Leaders Institute in partnership with the Church. In 2019 he would be elected Vice President of the Board, and later become Acting- President of the Board coordinating Christian Life Center’s Pulpit Committee with SoCal Assemblies of God. During this season he would complete an Associate of Divinity Degree, a Certificate in Chaplaincy, and an Associate of Chaplaincy Ordination. He would also facilitate under mentorship Healing Light Ministries, Healing Journey for Men. David continues with Life-long learning to Gods Glory and with service to people.

  David has a heart to help those in need. To bring prayer and to bring God’s presence into every life situation. He believes no one in our church or local community should have to go through a crisis alone. David’s aim is to place faith to his feet bringing God’s Word to impact people by bridging the gap between our Church and our local Community. He is supportive of Kingdom world missions and reaching out to our Military Veterans who have helped Bless us with the many Freedoms we enjoy.

  David is passionate about discipling believers to becoming all that God intends for them in Ministry. He works towards helping to empower people to overcome their challenges and struggles while encouraging them to discover their gifts and to live in the victorious life that God has for them. He encourages people to go forward as co-workers with Christ and aim at impacting our world with the Gospel and with All Glory to God!
